Our Philosophy:
At Planet Massage, we understand the pressures of life. Stress is everywhere, and they are taking their toll on us,our bodies and ...our planet. We believe that when we begin to take better care of ourselves, this, too, has an increasing positive effect on our planet, our environment, our interactions with others, etc. Learning how to eat/cook better natural, healthy-for-us-food, making time for stretching/icing/decompressing/resting... all of these have a residual effect on everything around us. As we heal ourselves, we also begin to heal everything around us. Our Therapists: Planet Massage has a number of highly-trained, certified/licensed professional massage therapists, who are educated in many modalities. About the Proprietor: Suzanne J. Seymour graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA. in 1992, and was also an instructor of Deep Tissue Techniques II at the school for 3 years. A member of the American Massage Therapy Board of Directors, Suzan served as a Vice President and Public Relations Chair of the Massachusetts Chapter, was instrumental in bringing state licensing to Massachusetts for massage therapists, and is currently the Past President of the Vermont Chapter.
Suzan later opened A Touch Of Atlantis in the Boston-Metro area and was the proprietor for over 10 years before selling the business to raise a family in Western Massachusetts. She has finally returned to her home state of Vermont after 27 years, and is excited to welcome you to experience a massage at Planet Massage, with our many therapists. Suzanne also just received the American Massage Therapy Association's 2016 Meritorious Award for Vermont, was in the Top 5 finalists for "Best Massage Therapists" in the 2015 7 Daysies, and received the first-ever AMTA Innovation Award for her Chapter, as serving President. at the National Convention in Pasadena, CA in 2017. |
